Rounta stepped away from the bats upon landing, and looked at the shack. "Yeah.." He replied to Battojin, but stopped as the man came out. Rounta's eyes looked over the old man, searching for any odd auras while standing. Rounta spoke first. "The creatures that absorb magic.. They're destroying a castle a long way from here. We were told you'd know something of it." Usually a castle being destroyed by creatures wasn't big news, but the potential these creatures were capable of was frightening.

"What he said" BattoJin said nodding.

"Yes, I know..." The old man said in a calm voice. He walked over so that he was now standing between the two to form a triangle.

"The creatures you face are neither human nor demon. They are simply known as the infestation. Many eons ago they threatened the existence of all life on the planet. They have many bodies, but only one mind, and only by fighting in the same fashion can you defeat them. When fighting them you must always remember that their queen is both their strongest and weakest link." The man went on for many hours telling the story of the infestation. When he finished he simply turned and walked back into his hut.

BattoJin then stood up and began to walk away with a sigh of fatigue.

"I'll go round up some help." He said in a tired voice.

Rounta grunted some, as the door shut on the hut. Placing a hand on the back of his head, he itched some, before saying. "I can recruit some of my druids to come help.. They're not as strong as some fighters we could probably find, but they're loyal until the end." Rounta was willing to lose some of his faithful followers for this one fight; for this fight could not be fought alone. He wasn't used to cooperation, so this would be a learning experience.

Rounta began walking off towards his castle, taking a calm pace, as if he had all the time in the world. Looking up, he sighed, and placed his hands behind his head, stretching some. "And it was such a pleasant day..."
