The day was bright and beaming, somewhat cloudy, but the sun was uninhibited. From far above, the forest looked serene, hiding any demons or small villages down below. Dipping down from the clouds, the dragon took scale of how far he'd traveled, his partner a little further behind him. Slitted cyan eyes stared down at the ocean of green. This was far enough. Reo roared back to Akina, "Land."
A simple commanded. Spinning onto his back, he spiraled his body down now. He was shooting at the ground vertically, gaining speed swiftly as he tucked his wings in. Reo's torso was about the length of a bus and a half, and his wing span far larger than that. As he came down at the earth, he arched his back, beginning to level off. Wings spread swiftly, catching the wind as he flapped them, slowing himself down. He came in and landed hard into the forest, landing into a run. He slowed his run down, having wrecked a bunch of trees in the mean time. His feet finally stopped, and the dragon looked around, to see if Akina had followed him. Being on the ground and all, they'd probably have to go to human form, if they wanted to travel without being spotted. In the distance, there wasn't a village, but a large human town. A good way to test how strong the northerners were...

Akina heard his roar stareing down at the forest below in deep thought. Akina soon followed behind him back towards the earth. landing a way's away from him looking around at all the tree's tucking her wings to her back. " Theres humans around here?", she called out to him still in her dragon form.

Reosoul looked at her, and nodded his scaley head towards the town that could be seen in the distance. He folded his wings to his back, and he walked a few steps, before he was surrounded in a blinding light, that slowly began to dim. After it dimmed into nothing, Reosoul was in his human form, Agito hanging over his shoulder. He opened the eye-visor on his helmet, and began walking towards Akina. If they stayed in human form before they got into the town, they could transform there, and have a good suprise attack on them.

Akina Changed into her human form when she seen Reosoul coming towards her. She rubbed the back of her helmet looking at him. " lets go! ", she said in both a excited and impatient tone. " The faster we get this done the faster we can get home!", stating the obvious was something she loved to do it seemed sometimes just to be mean sometimes unknowingly.

Reosoul smirked at her, before he replied to her. "Really? I didn't know the process of cause and effect enough to discover that, should we get enough souls, we would be finished! Mind-boggling." Snickering some, he began walking towards the town, his armor clanking some as he went along. He only had the visor down when he was in the middle of a fight. One the visor was down, there weren't very many weak spots on the armor, For most humans, the armor would feel incredibly heavy and impossible to just walk around in. But Reo and Akina were dragon demons, super human strength was common for their race. The Agito hung over his shoulder, as Reo found the dirt path that merchants used to get to the city. The city seemed much closer, with not so many trees in the way.
Reo commented back to Akina. "I wonder if these northerners have ever seen a dragon up close? Last thing we need is them being prepared for us." Back down at home, in southern Japan, attacking a town by yourself usually was a death sentence. Most of the cities had harpoons which were made out of the Dragon buster material.

" you really shouldn't be so sarcastic it gives you wrinkles you know", she said rolling her eyes. Akina followed him humming to herself out of boredom. " not tooooo much longer", she said in a singing voice that would annoy the hell out of anyone. She kept walking her sword on her back. " If they know what to do to us then were in trouble. I don't think they will though",

He chuckled some, to keep from turning and hitting her with the flat of his sword. That was very annoying. Many steps later, they were at the entrance of the town. This was a merchant town, so you didn't have to show any papers of identification to get it. However, it was still protected by militia forces who gained payment from the merchants they protected. Reo strutted in towards the center of the town.
While walking, the recieved many odd looks, and a couple of the militia men followed them when they entered the town, as if to make sure they weren't going to cause any trouble. Reo paid them no mind, and upon entering the center of the town, where the biggest crowd was. The place was packed with people, mostly of the people milling around the merchant stands which sold a great variety of things.
Reo looks at Akina. "Go on the other side of this center market.. You'll know when it's time to start, and time to stop." He gave her a wink of confidence, and he turned, looking at the militia men following him. "Is there a problem, good sirs?"

Akina followed him to the center of the village nodding when she was told to go to the other side. " Whatever you say", she said simply walking to the other side watching all the humans pass by as she pushed some out of her way. " watch it!", she growled as she walked.

"Only Militia are allowed to carry a weapon inside the city... Hand the sword over. " Reo looked at the guard for a moment, and figured out he was actually being serious. He burst out laughing in the guards face, before he regained enough control to reply. "Sure. Here ya go, then." He suddenly swung at the men with the blade, cutting the man roughly in half. Reo laughed louder than before, and suddenly shined brightly.
The light grew brighter and larger, expanding until it suddenly disappeared, a large red dragon left in it's wake. With a deafening roar, he began to spray fire down upon the crowds of humans, lashing his tail around at them, and stepping on them. Not many who were on Reo's side of the market escaped his wrath. 80% of them were dying from being set on fire, and burned to death. Reo's so sweet.

Akina looked over her shoulder seeing That reo had Gone into his dragon form. " Peh I guess thats what he meant", she said rolling her eyes as she changed into her dragon form the light around her dying out. She came out of the light fighting Swiping her claws at some humans and whipping her tail around them backing them aginst the wall before sending a fire ball down on them. But she had only cleared a little over half of the ones on her side.

After the ones that were out in the open we're dead, Reo had to start smashing his way through the city. Snarling, he rose up onto his hind legs, and thrashed his tail at the houses, before he uses his arms to destroy the houses. He occasionally spewed fire down upon packs of humans, incinerating them almost instantly. Reo had cleared the center, and was mostly making his way through the town, killing as many as possible.

Akina kicked at some of the buildings watching the humans scurry out of the way of the falling rubble. She hissed when she felt something prick at her foot looking down seeing one of the militia men had stabbed her but she only shook it off stepping on him soon after. She hit one building with the side of her tail knocking it only partially in and sending a fire ball down on the rest of it and the humans inside.

Reosoul snarled, before he demolished more of the city, spraying out more fire. Soon though, he was beginning to be struck by something painful. Not arrows, he ignored those easily. But some of the Militia's Adepts, were firing bolts of frost at him. When another one of the frostbolts struck his head, making ice form on the side of his face, he growled and shot a fireball at them, watching some of the mages get blown away in the explosion.
Reo glowed brightly, before the light began to dim some. He was back in human form now. He cut down one of the human's near him, before he held the sword still. Agito slowly began to glow a light blue, as it drew in all the souls near it. The sword glowed brighter and brighter, with each soul it pulled into it, trapping it inside. No afterlife for those unfortunate ones.

Akina flew overhead just a few feet from the roof of a house sending fire into the streets with some of the remaining Humans before changing into her Human form landing gracefully on the roof of what was left of the house. " we are really doing these people a favor hm Reo", She called out to him pulling her sword off of her back and hopped off the roof landing on her feet in the scorched streets. Her sword glowing as it began to bring in the souls of the fallen.

"Yeah, you know more than half of these people are going to hell. Tsk tsk, sinners." He finished absorbing the souls around him, and the only ones left were the ones around Akina. A few arrows thudded into Reo's back, as well as a couple of frostbolts striking him. He only stumbled slightly from the hits, and kept walking towards Akina, frost forming on his armor from the hits. Some of the militia rushed at Reo, and began slashing their swords at his armor, and he merely continued walking to Akina.
When he reached Akina, he sweeped his sword around him, cutting the humans down, before he absorbed their souls. "Ready to go?" He was then struck by four more frostbolts, and he winced. "Irritating." But, he had nothing to shoot or throw at them, so all he could do was wait on Akina to finish, so they could leave and take stock of how many souls they'd acquired.
